Space Coast Half Marathon

On Sunday, November 29, 2015 I completed the Space Coast Half Marathon in Cocoa, Florida. It was a partly sunny day with little wind and a temperature from 66 to 74 degrees. The course was a relatively flat out and back course over two lane paved roads that were completely closed to traffic along the Indian River. The intersections were controlled by police and volunteers. Water/Gatorade stations were located approximately every mile and were manned by plenty of efficient enthusiastic volunteers. There were a capped field of 3600 participants in the half marathon which made the event somewhat crowded. I have done the Space Coast Marathon 6 times and the Space Coast Half Marathon 7 times. I have always enjoyed myself in this well-organized fun event.
